Description
NRAS Monoclonal Antibody [PAT2G9AT] (CPAB0444)
The NRAS Monoclonal Antibody (CPAB0444) is a versatile tool for research involving NRAS, a key signaling molecule in cancer and other diseases. This antibody, produced in rabbits, demonstrates high specificity and sensitivity in detecting NRAS in human samples, making it an ideal choice for Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications.NRAS is a member of the RAS family of proteins and is involved in regulating cell growth, differentiation, and survival. Mutations in NRAS have been implicated in various cancers, making it a potential target for therapeutic intervention.
The NRAS Monoclonal Antibody enables researchers to study the expression and activity of NRAS in different cell types and tissues, providing valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer progression and drug resistance.By using the NRAS Monoclonal Antibody in their experiments, scientists can further elucidate the role of NRAS in cancer biology and potentially identify novel therapeutic strategies for targeting NRAS-driven cancers. This antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying oncology, molecular biology, and drug discovery.

Background: | NRAS binds GDP/GTP and has intrinsic GTPase activity. NRAS is a membrane protein that shuttles between the Golgi apparatus and the plasma membrane. This transport is regulated through palmitoylation and depalmitoylation by the ZDHHC9-GOLGA7 complex. NRAS is activated to a GTP-bound form by a GTPase activating protein and inactivated to a GDP-bound form by a guanine nucleotide-exchange factor. Defects in this NRAS gene result in juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia. |
