Description
NR1H2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB21754)
The NR1H2 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying NR1H2, a nuclear receptor known for its role in lipid metabolism and inflammation. This antibody is produced in rabbits and has been validated for Western blot applications, showing high reactivity with human samples. By binding to the NR1H2 protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of NR1H2 in various cell types, making it ideal for studies in metabolism, inflammation, and related fields.NR1H2, also known as liver X receptor beta (LXR-beta), is a crucial regulator of cholesterol homeostasis and inflammatory responses in the body.
Dysfunction of NR1H2 has been implicated in metabolic disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and inflammatory conditions. Therefore, understanding the function of NR1H2 is essential for developing targeted therapies for these health issues.Overall, the NR1H2 Polyclonal Antibody offers researchers a reliable tool for investigating the role of NR1H2 in various biological processes and diseases, ultimately contributing to the development of novel therapeutic interventions.

The liver X receptors, LXRA (NR1H3; MIM 602423) and LXRB, form a subfamily of the nuclear receptor superfamily and are key regulators of macrophage function, controlling transcriptional programs involved in lipid homeostasis and inflammation. The inducible LXRA is highly expressed in liver, adrenal gland, intestine, adipose tissue, macrophages, lung, and kidney, whereas LXRB is ubiquitously expressed. Ligand-activated LXRs form obligate heterodimers with retinoid X receptors (RXRs; see MIM 180245) and regulate expression of target genes containing LXR response elements (summary by Korf et al., 2009 [PubMed 19436111]).
