The NPL Polyclonal Antibody (CAB9210) is a valuable tool for researchers studying NPL, a protein involved in regulating immune responses and inflammation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, has high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for Western blot applications. By binding to the NPL protein, the antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in various cell types, making it ideal for use in immunology and cancer research studies.NPL, also known as immune regulatory protein, plays a crucial role in immune homeostasis by modulating inflammatory responses and inhibiting allergic reactions.
Its importance in immune system regulation makes it a promising target for research into diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and chronic inflammatory conditions. A thorough understanding of NPL activity is essential for developing therapeutic interventions that can manipulate immune function in these disease contexts.

This gene encodes a member of the N-acetylneuraminate lyase sub-family of (beta/alpha)(8)-barrel enzymes. N-acetylneuraminate lyases regulate cellular concentrations of N-acetyl-neuraminic acid (sialic acid) by mediating the reversible conversion of sialic acid into N-acetylmannosamine and pyruvate. A pseudogene of this gene is located on the short arm of chromosome 2. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
