The NKX2-1 Monoclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying the NKX2-1 protein, also known as thyroid transcription factor-1 (TTF-1). This antibody, produced using innovative monoclonal antibody technology, is highly specific to NKX2-1 and has been validated for use in various research applications, including immunohistochemistry and Western blotting.NKX2-1 is a transcription factor that plays a crucial role in lung development and function, as well as in the regulation of thyroid and ventral forebrain development. Dysregulation of NKX2-1 has been implicated in various diseases, including lung cancer and thyroid disorders.
Therefore, studying the expression and function of NKX2-1 using the NKX2-1 Monoclonal Antibody can provide valuable insights into these disease processes.Whether investigating the role of NKX2-1 in normal lung development or exploring its involvement in lung cancer progression, the NKX2-1 Monoclonal Antibody is a reliable and specific tool for researchers in the fields of molecular biology, oncology, and developmental biology. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this antibody is an essential component of any research study focused on understanding the functions and dysregulation of NKX2-1.

This gene encodes a protein initially identified as a thyroid-specific transcription factor. The encoded protein binds to the thyroglobulin promoter and regulates the expression of thyroid-specific genes but has also been shown to regulate the expression of genes involved in morphogenesis. Mutations and deletions in this gene are associated with benign hereditary chorea, choreoathetosis, congenital hypothyroidism, and neonatal respiratory distress, and may be associated with thyroid cancer. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. This gene shares the symbol/alias 'TTF1' with another gene, transcription termination factor 1, which plays a role in ribosomal gene transcription.
