The NFYB Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7295) is a vital tool for researchers studying NFYB, a transcription factor involved in gene regulation and cell differentiation. This antibody, produced through immunization of rabbits, exhibits strong reactivity with human samples and has been validated for Western blot applications. By specifically binding to NFYB, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in various cell types, making it an essential component for studies in molecular biology and cancer research.
NFYB, also known as nuclear transcription factor Y subunit beta, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression and cell proliferation. Its involvement in numerous cellular processes underscores its importance as a target for research in cancer biology, developmental biology, and stem cell research. By elucidating the functions of NFYB, researchers can uncover novel insights into the mechanisms underlying these biological processes and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for disease intervention.

Human,Mouse
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-207 of human NFYB (NP_006157.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is one subunit of a trimeric complex, forming a highly conserved transcription factor that binds with high specificity to CCAAT motifs in the promoter regions in a variety of genes. This gene product, subunit B, forms a tight dimer with the C subunit, a prerequisite for subunit A association. The resulting trimer binds to DNA with high specificity and affinity. Subunits B and C each contain a histone-like motif. Observation of the histone nature of these subunits is supported by two types of evidence; protein sequence alignments and experiments with mutants.
