The Neurotrophin-4 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB3180) is a valuable tool for researchers studying neurotrophin-4, a protein that plays a key role in the growth and survival of neurons in the nervous system. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the neurotrophin-4 protein, researchers can detect and analyze its expression in a variety of cell types, making it an essential tool for studies in neuroscience and neurodegenerative diseases.Neurotrophin-4 is a member of the neurotrophin family, which are essential for the development and function of the nervous system. Studies have shown that neurotrophin-4 is involved in neuronal survival, differentiation, and synapse formation, making it a potential target for research into neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease.
Understanding the role of neurotrophin-4 is crucial for the development of therapies aimed at promoting neuroprotection and neuroregeneration in these conditions.Overall, the Neurotrophin-4 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB3180) is a reliable tool for researchers investigating the function and significance of neurotrophin-4 in the nervous system. Its high specificity and validated performance make it an essential component of any research project focusing on neurotrophin-4 and its potential implications in neurobiology and neuro

This gene is a member of a family of neurotrophic factors, neurotrophins, that control survival and differentiation of mammalian neurons. The expression of this gene is ubiquitous and less influenced by environmental signals. While knock-outs of other neurotrophins including nerve growth factor, brain-derived neurotrophic factor, and neurotrophin 3 prove lethal during early postnatal development, NTF5-deficient mice only show minor cellular deficits and develop normally to adulthood.
