The NEK5 Polyclonal Antibody (PACO58192) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the NEK5 protein, a member of the NIMA-related kinase family involved in cell cycle regulation and cellular response to stress. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific to human NEK5 and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the NEK5 protein, researchers can analyze its expression and function in various cell types, advancing our understanding of cell division and stress response mechanisms.NEK5, a serine/threonine kinase, plays a vital role in regulating the cell cycle and responding to various stress signals, making it a key player in cellular homeostasis.
Dysregulation of NEK5 has been linked to abnormal cell proliferation and survival, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic target for diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. By studying the function of NEK5, researchers can uncover new insights into cell biology and potentially identify novel treatment strategies for these conditions.

IHC image of PACO58192 diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human pancreatic cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
