The NDUFB3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB14378) is a valuable tool for researchers studying NDUFB3, a subunit of mitochondrial complex I involved in electron transport chain function. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity towards human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the NDUFB3 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it essential for investigations in bioenergetics, mitochondrial function, and metabolic disorders.NDUFB3, a key component of mitochondrial complex I, plays a crucial role in ATP production and cellular energy metabolism.
Dysregulation of NDUFB3 has been implicated in various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and metabolic syndromes. Research on NDUFB3 is vital for understanding the mechanisms underlying these pathologies and identifying potential therapeutic targets for intervention. By using the NDUFB3 Polyclonal Antibody, scientists can advance their studies on mitochondrial physiology and explore new avenues for combating related health conditions.

Human,Mouse
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-98 of human NDUFB3 (NP_002482.1).
This gene encodes an accessory subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I) which is the first enzyme in the electron transport chain of mitochondria. This protein localizes to the inner membrane of the mitochondrion as a single-pass membrane protein. Mutations in this gene contribute to mitochondrial complex 1 deficiency. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding the same protein. Humans have multiple pseudogenes of this gene.
