The NDST1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CAB17498) is a valuable tool for researchers studying NDST1, a key enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of heparan sulfate and heparin. This antibody, produced in rabbits, has high reactivity with human samples and is suitable for use in various applications, including Western blotting. By specifically targeting the NDST1 protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of NDST1 expression in different cell types, making it ideal for research in glycobiology, cancer biology, and developmental biology.
NDST1 is essential for the sulfation of heparan sulfate chains, which play crucial roles in cell signaling, growth factor activity, and extracellular matrix organization. Dysregulation of NDST1 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, developmental disorders, and cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, studying NDST1 using this antibody can provide valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying these pathologies and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for intervention.
Product Name:
NDST1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB17498
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 40-170 of human NDST1 (NP_001534.1).
This gene encodes a member of the heparan sulfate/heparin GlcNAc N-deacetylase/ N-sulfotransferase family. The encoded enzyme is a type II transmembrane protein that resides in the Golgi apparatus. The encoded protein catalyzes the transfer of sulfate from 3'-phosphoadenosine 5'-phosphosulfate to nitrogen of glucosamine in heparan sulfate. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
