The NCOR1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7046) is a valuable tool for researchers studying NCOR1, a key regulator of gene expression and cellular differentiation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to NCOR1 and has been validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting. By binding to the NCOR1 protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of NCOR1 in a variety of cell types, making it a versatile tool for studies in molecular biology and developmental biology.NCOR1 is a transcriptional corepressor that plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression.
It is involved in diverse biological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and metabolism. Dysregulation of NCOR1 has been linked to various diseases, such as cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular disorders. Therefore, understanding the function of NCOR1 is essential for the development of therapeutic strategies targeting these conditions.Overall, the NCOR1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7046) is a reliable research tool that can help advance our understanding of NCOR1 biology and its implications in health and disease.
Product Name:
NCOR1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB7046
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-200 of human NCOR1 (NP_006302.2).
This gene encodes a protein that mediates ligand-independent transcription repression of thyroid-hormone and retinoic-acid receptors by promoting chromatin condensation and preventing access of the transcription machinery. It is part of a complex which also includes histone deacetylases and transcriptional regulators similar to the yeast protein Sin3p. This gene is located between the Charcot-Marie-Tooth and Smith-Magenis syndrome critical regions on chromosome 17. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Pseudogenes of this gene are found on chromosomes 17 and 20.
