The NCOA3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB17330) is an essential tool for researchers studying the NCOA3 protein, a key player in gene regulation and cellular signaling pathways. Raised in rabbits, this antibody is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the NCOA3 protein, researchers can investigate its function in various cell types, particularly in the context of cancer research and hormonal regulation.NCOA3, also known as SRC-3, is a coactivator of nuclear receptors and transcription factors, influencing gene expression and cell cycle progression. Its dysregulation has been linked to a variety of diseases, including cancer, metabolic disorders, and reproductive abnormalities.
By understanding the role of NCOA3 in these disease processes, researchers can identify potential therapeutic targets and develop new treatment strategies.Overall, the NCOA3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB17330) provides a valuable tool for researchers interested in unraveling the complex mechanisms involving NCOA3 and its implications in various diseases. Its specificity and reliability make it an indispensable asset for studies aimed at advancing our understanding of gene regulation and disease pathology.

A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 1-100 of human NCOA3 (NP_858045.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is a nuclear receptor coactivator that interacts with nuclear hormone receptors to enhance their transcriptional activator functions. The encoded protein has histone acetyltransferase activity and recruits p300/CBP-associated factor and CREB binding protein as part of a multisubunit coactivation complex. This protein is initially found in the cytoplasm but is translocated into the nucleus upon phosphorylation. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. In addition, a polymorphic repeat region is found in the C-terminus of the encoded protein.
