The MYL6 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8557) is a high-quality research tool designed for studies involving MYL6, a myosin light chain protein known for its role in muscle contraction and other cellular processes. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits a high level of reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to MYL6, researchers can accurately detect and analyze this protein in a variety of cell types, making it an invaluable tool for investigations in muscle biology and related fields.
MYL6 is a critical component of the myosin complex, which plays a fundamental role in muscle contraction, cell division, and intracellular transport. As such, understanding the function and regulation of MYL6 is essential for unraveling the mechanisms underlying muscle physiology and disease. The MYL6 Polyclonal Antibody provides researchers with a reliable means of studying MYL6 expression and localization in order to gain insights into its involvement in muscle development, function, and pathology.

Myosin is a hexameric ATPase cellular motor protein. It is composed of two heavy chains, two nonphosphorylatable alkali light chains, and two phosphorylatable regulatory light chains. This gene encodes a myosin alkali light chain that is expressed in smooth muscle and non-muscle tissues. Genomic sequences representing several pseudogenes have been described and two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
