The Myosin 9 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB0173) is a valuable tool for researchers investigating the role of myosin 9 in cellular processes such as cell motility, cytokinesis, and cell signaling. This antibody, generated in rabbits, displays high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.Myosin 9 is a molecular motor protein that plays a critical role in cell movement and division, as well as in the maintenance of cell shape and structure. Dysregulation of myosin 9 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and neurological conditions.
By targeting myosin 9 with this antibody, researchers can gain insights into the function and regulation of this protein in normal and pathological conditions. With its specificity and sensitivity in detecting myosin 9 in different cell types, the Myosin 9 Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for studies in cell biology, cancer research, and drug development. By understanding the mechanisms underlying myosin 9 activity, researchers can uncover new therapeutic targets and strategies for treating diseases associated with aberrant myosin 9 function.
Product Name:
MYH9 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

CAB0173
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1711-1960 of human MYH9 (NP_002464.1).
This gene encodes a conventional non-muscle myosin; this protein should not be confused with the unconventional myosin-9a or 9b (MYO9A or MYO9B). The encoded protein is a myosin IIA heavy chain that contains an IQ domain and a myosin head-like domain which is involved in several important functions, including cytokinesis, cell motility and maintenance of cell shape. Defects in this gene have been associated with non-syndromic sensorineural deafness autosomal dominant type 17, Epstein syndrome, Alport syndrome with macrothrombocytopenia, Sebastian syndrome, Fechtner syndrome and macrothrombocytopenia with progressive sensorineural deafness.
