The MYH2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15292) is a powerful tool for researchers studying the MYH2 protein, an essential component in muscle contraction. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is specifically designed for use with human samples and has been validated for Western blot applications. By binding to the MYH2 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal choice for investigations in muscle biology and related fields.MYH2, also known as myosin II, plays a pivotal role in muscle function by generating the force required for muscle contraction. As a key player in muscle physiology, MYH2 is implicated in various muscle-related disorders, making it a compelling target for research.
Understanding the function of MYH2 is crucial for unraveling the mechanisms underlying muscle diseases and developing potential therapies to address them.In summary, the MYH2 Polyclonal Antibody offers researchers a reliable tool for investigating the role of MYH2 in muscle biology and associated disorders. Its high reactivity with human samples and suitability for Western blot applications make it a valuable asset for studies aimed at advancing our understanding of muscle function and dysfunction.

Myosins are actin-based motor proteins that function in the generation of mechanical force in eukaryotic cells. Muscle myosins are heterohexamers composed of 2 myosin heavy chains and 2 pairs of nonidentical myosin light chains. This gene encodes a member of the class II or conventional myosin heavy chains, and functions in skeletal muscle contraction. This gene is found in a cluster of myosin heavy chain genes on chromosome 17. A mutation in this gene results in inclusion body myopathy-3. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified.
