The MTMR9 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB13124) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the MTMR9 protein, a member of the myotubularin-related protein family that plays a key role in cellular processes such as membrane trafficking and signaling. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the MTMR9 protein, this antibody enables researchers to analyze and detect MTMR9 expression in various cell types, making it ideal for studies in cell biology and signaling pathways.
MTMR9 is known to be involved in regulating important cellular functions such as phosphoinositide metabolism and endosomal trafficking, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions in diseases like cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and metabolic syndromes. Understanding the role of MTMR9 in these processes is essential for developing targeted therapies that can modulate its activity for therapeutic purposes.
Product Name:
MTMR9 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-250 of human MTMR9 (NP_056273.2).
This gene encodes a myotubularin-related protein that is atypical to most other members of the myotubularin-related protein family because it has no dual-specificity phosphatase domain. The encoded protein contains a double-helical motif similar to the SET interaction domain, which is thought to have a role in the control of cell proliferation. In mouse, a protein similar to the encoded protein binds with MTMR7, and together they dephosphorylate phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate and inositol 1,3-bisphosphate.
