The MTMR14 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7480) is a research tool designed for investigating the protein MTMR14, a key player in cellular processes such as autophagy and membrane trafficking. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot and immunofluorescence applications.MTMR14, also known as myotubularin-related protein 14, is involved in the regulation of various cellular functions, including cell growth and survival. Dysregulation of MTMR14 has been linked to diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making it an important target for further research in these areas.
By utilizing the MTMR14 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can accurately detect and study the expression levels and localization of MTMR14 in different cell types and tissues. This antibody provides a valuable tool for gaining insights into the mechanisms underlying disease pathology and for developing potential therapeutic strategies targeting MTMR14.

Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 335-500 of human MTMR14 (NP_001070993.1).
This gene encodes a myotubularin-related protein. The encoded protein is a phosphoinositide phosphatase that specifically dephosphorylates phosphatidylinositol 3,5-biphosphate and phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate. Mutations in this gene are correlated with autosomal dominant centronuclear myopathy. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. A pseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome 18.
