The MTMR14 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying the MTMR14 protein, which plays a role in various cellular processes. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and is optimized for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the MTMR14 protein, researchers can effectively detect and study its expression in different cell types, making it ideal for investigations in cell biology and disease research.MTMR14, also known as Myotubularin-related protein 14, is involved in regulating various cellular functions such as vesicle trafficking, autophagy, and lipid metabolism.
Dysregulation of MTMR14 has been linked to diseases such as Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and cancer, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions. By understanding the role of MTMR14 in cellular processes, researchers can uncover new insights into disease mechanisms and potentially develop novel treatment strategies.

CAB21599
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-280 of human MTMR14 (NP_001070993.1).
This gene encodes a myotubularin-related protein. The encoded protein is a phosphoinositide phosphatase that specifically dephosphorylates phosphatidylinositol 3,5-biphosphate and phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate. Mutations in this gene are correlated with autosomal dominant centronuclear myopathy. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. A pseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome 18.
