The MPEG1 Polyclonal Antibody (PACO60052) is a valuable tool for researchers studying MPEG1, a protein involved in immune responses and host defense against pathogens. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the MPEG1 protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for immunology and infectious disease research.MPEG1, also known as macrophage expressed gene 1, is a key player in the innate immune response, particularly in the context of microbial infection.
Its ability to degrade pathogen membranes and promote immune cell activation highlights its importance in immune defense mechanisms. Research into MPEG1 has implications for understanding how the immune system combats infections and could lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies for infectious diseases. Overall, the MPEG1 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers seeking to explore the role of MPEG1 in immune responses and host defense mechanisms, offering insights that could potentially inform the development of new treatments for infectious diseases.

Immunofluorescence staining of A549 cells with PACO60052 at 1:166, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).
