The Mouse TTR (Transthyretin) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the precise quantification of transthyretin levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and reproducible results for a variety of research applications.Transthyretin is a key protein involved in transporting thyroid hormones and vitamin A in the body. Dysregulation of transthyretin levels has been linked to various diseases, such as amyloidosis and familial amyloidotic polyneuropathy, highlighting its importance as a biomarker in studying these conditions and developing potential treatments.
With its reliable performance and ease of use, the Mouse TTR ELISA Kit is an invaluable tool for researchers looking to investigate the role of transthyretin in disease pathogenesis and explore potential therapeutic interventions.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse TTR. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse TTR and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse TTR, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Mouse TTR. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse TTR in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
