The Mouse MUC5AC (Mucin 5 Subtype AC) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the accurate detection of MUC5AC levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides reliable and reproducible results, making it ideal for a variety of research applications.MUC5AC is a mucin protein that plays a crucial role in mucin production and secretion, particularly in the respiratory tract. Abnormalities in MUC5AC expression have been associated with various respiratory conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and cystic fibrosis.
The Mouse MUC5AC CLIA Kit allows for the precise measurement of MUC5AC levels, enabling researchers to study the role of this protein in respiratory diseases and develop potential therapeutic strategies.Overall, the Mouse MUC5AC CLIA Kit is a valuable tool for researchers interested in studying mucin biology and investigating the mechanisms underlying respiratory diseases in mouse models. Its high sensitivity and specificity make it a reliable choice for accurate MUC5AC quantification in experimental settings.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse MUC5AC. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse MUC5AC and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse MUC5AC, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Mouse MUC5AC. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse MUC5AC in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
