The Mouse/Human CD11b Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated, M1/70) is a valuable tool for researchers studying immune cell populations expressing the CD11b antigen. This antibody is specifically designed for flow cytometry applications, enabling the precise identification and analysis of CD11b-expressing cells in both mice and humans.CD11b, also known as integrin alpha M, is a cell surface receptor involved in cell adhesion and migration, particularly in the context of immune responses and inflammation. Its expression on various immune cells, including monocytes, macrophages, and granulocytes, makes it a key marker for studying the function and behavior of these cell populations in both health and disease.By utilizing the Mouse/Human CD11b Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated, M1/70), researchers can gain insight into the distribution and activation status of CD11b-expressing cells in experimental models or clinical samples.
This antibody's high specificity and sensitivity ensure reliable and reproducible results, making it an essential reagent for studies focused on immune cell biology, inflammatory disorders, and immunotherapy research.Overall, the Mouse/Human CD11b Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated, M1/70) offers a valuable tool for investigating the role of CD11b-positive immune cell populations, providing researchers with a deeper understanding of immune cell dynamics and potential therapeutic targets.

Background:
CD11b is a 170 kD glycoprotein also known as αM integrin, Mac-1 α subunit, Mol, CR3, and Ly-40. CD11b is a member of the integrin family, primarily expressed on granulocytes, monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, NK cells, and subsets of T and B cells. CD11b non-covalently associates with CD18 (β2 integrin) to form Mac-1. Mac-1 plays an important role in cell-cell interaction by binding its ligands ICAM-1 (CD54), ICAM-2 (CD102), ICAM-4 (CD242), iC3b, and fibrinogen.
