The Mouse FC Epsilon RI Alpha Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated) - MAR-1 (AGEL1985) is a powerful tool for research applications involving the FC Epsilon RI Alpha receptor, a crucial component of the immune system's response to allergens and parasites. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated to phycoerythrin (PE), offers high specificity and sensitivity in detecting FC Epsilon RI Alpha in mouse samples. It is extensively validated for use in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence assays, providing researchers with reliable and accurate results. The FC Epsilon RI Alpha receptor is a key player in allergic responses, as it triggers the release of inflammatory mediators upon allergen exposure.
By targeting and binding specifically to FC Epsilon RI Alpha, this monoclonal antibody enables precise visualization and quantification of receptor expression on various cell types, aiding in the study of allergic reactions and immune responses. Its versatility and robust performance make it an essential tool for investigating immunological mechanisms and developing novel therapies for allergic diseases and related conditions.

Background:
FcεRIα is a transmembrane protein belonging to the Ig superfamily. FcεRIα forms a tetrameric complex with one β and two γ-subunits. The FcεRI complex plays an important role in triggering IgE-mediated allergic reactions. It is abundantly expressed on mast and basophils and up-regulated by the presence of IgE. Following stimulation via FcεRIα, mast cells and basophils release bioactive chemical mediators such as histamine, resulting in the initiation of allergic reactions. Cross linking of the high-affinity receptor for IgE on tissue mast cells triggers immediate hypersensitivity with local symptoms. The MAR-1 monoclonal antibody reacts with the FcεRIα subunit.
