The Mouse COMP (Cartilage Oligomeric Matrix Protein) CLIA Kit is a powerful tool for precise quantification of COMP levels in mouse serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates. With its exceptional sensitivity and specificity, this kit delivers consistent and accurate results, making it an invaluable asset for various research purposes.COMP is an essential protein found in cartilage and other connective tissues, playing a vital role in maintaining tissue integrity and function.
Dysregulation of COMP levels has been implicated in various musculoskeletal disorders, making it a key biomarker for studying these conditions and exploring potential therapeutic interventions.Overall, the Mouse COMP CLIA Kit offers researchers a reliable and efficient method for detecting and measuring COMP levels in mouse samples, providing crucial insights into the role of this protein in health and disease.
This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse COMP. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse COMP and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse COMP, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Mouse COMP. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse COMP in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
