The Mouse CD90.2 Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine5 Conjugated; 30-H12; AGEL1216) offered by Assay Genie is a powerful tool for research involving the CD90.2 antigen, also known as Thy1.2. This antibody, derived from mouse hybridoma cells, is specifically designed for the detection and analysis of CD90.2 in various cell types and tissues.CD90.2 is a cell surface glycoprotein that plays a crucial role in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, making it a valuable marker for identifying and characterizing different cell populations, particularly in the fields of immunology and stem cell research. The CD90.2 Monoclonal Antibody is conjugated with PE/Cyanine5, enhancing its detection sensitivity in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence applications.
With its high specificity and sensitivity, this antibody enables researchers to study the expression and localization of CD90.2 in different biological samples, providing insights into cellular processes and disease mechanisms. Whether investigating immune cell subsets, stem cell populations, or tissue-specific functions, the Mouse CD90.2 Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine5 Conjugated; 30-H12; AGEL1216) is an essential tool for advancing research in diverse areas of biomedical science.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
CD90.2 is a 25-35 kD immunoglobulin superfamily member also known as Thy1.2. It is expressed on hematopoietic stem cells and neurons, all thymocytes, and peripheral T cells in Thy1.2 bearing mouse strains (Balb/c, CBA/J, C3H/He, C57BL/-, DBA, NZB/-). CD90.2 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored membrane glycoprotein involved in signal transduction. CD90.2 is involved in costimulation of lymphocyte proliferation and induction of hematopoietic stem cells differentiation. CD90.2 has been shown to interact with CD45. The 30H12 antibody has been reported to induce Ca2+ flux in thymocytes and, in combination with antibody against the CD3/TCR complex, promote thymocyte apoptosis and inhibit CD3-mediated proliferative responses of mature T lymphocytes.
