The Mouse CD90.2 Monoclonal Antibody (APC-conjugated, 30-H12 - AGEL1214) offered by AssayGenie is a powerful tool for researchers investigating CD90.2 expression in mouse samples. This antibody specifically targets CD90.2, also known as Thy1.2, a cell surface glycoprotein commonly used as a marker for various cell types, including stem cells and hematopoietic cells.By binding to CD90.2 with high specificity, this monoclonal antibody enables precise detection and analysis of CD90.2-expressing cells in flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and other experimental techniques. The APC conjugation enhances signal detection, allowing for accurate and reliable results in diverse applications.
CD90.2 is a key molecule involved in cell-cell interactions, signal transduction, and immune responses, making it an essential target for studies in immunology, stem cell research, and cancer biology. Understanding the role of CD90.2 in these processes can provide valuable insights into cell function, development, and disease progression. With its high specificity, sensitivity, and reliability, the Mouse CD90.2 Monoclonal Antibody (APC-conjugated, 30-H12 - AGEL1214) from AssayGenie is a valuable asset for researchers seeking to explore the functions and implications of CD90.2 expression in mouse models.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
CD90.2 is a 25-35 kD immunoglobulin superfamily member also known as Thy1.2. It is expressed on hematopoietic stem cells and neurons, all thymocytes, and peripheral T cells in Thy1.2 bearing mouse strains (Balb/c, CBA/J, C3H/He, C57BL/-, DBA, NZB/-). CD90.2 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored membrane glycoprotein involved in signal transduction. CD90.2 is involved in costimulation of lymphocyte proliferation and induction of hematopoietic stem cells differentiation. CD90.2 has been shown to interact with CD45. The 30H12 antibody has been reported to induce Ca2+ flux in thymocytes and, in combination with antibody against the CD3/TCR complex, promote thymocyte apoptosis and inhibit CD3-mediated proliferative responses of mature T lymphocytes.
