The Mouse CD90.2 Monoclonal Antibody (AF488 Conjugated) (30-H12) (AGEL1220) is a powerful tool for researchers studying CD90.2, a cell surface marker widely used for the identification and isolation of various cell types, particularly in the field of immunology and stem cell research. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated with AF488 for enhanced detection, specifically targets CD90.2, allowing for precise analysis and characterization of cells expressing this marker.CD90.2, also known as Thy1.2, plays a crucial role in cell adhesion, migration, and signaling pathways, making it a key player in processes such as tissue regeneration, immune response modulation, and cancer progression.
The ability to accurately detect and quantify CD90.2-expressing cells is essential for understanding their functions and interactions within biological systems. With its high specificity and sensitivity, the Mouse CD90.2 Monoclonal Antibody (AF488 Conjugated) (30-H12) (AGEL1220) is a valuable tool for researchers investigating the roles of CD90.2-positive cells in development, disease progression, and therapeutic interventions. Whether studying immune responses, stem cell behavior, or tumor microenvironments, this antibody enables precise and reliable detection of CD90.2, facilitating in-depth analysis and interpretation of experimental results.

Background:
CD90.2 is a 25-35 kD immunoglobulin superfamily member also known as Thy1.2. It is expressed on hematopoietic stem cells and neurons, all thymocytes, and peripheral T cells in Thy1.2 bearing mouse strains (Balb/c, CBA/J, C3H/He, C57BL/-, DBA, NZB/-). CD90.2 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored membrane glycoprotein involved in signal transduction. CD90.2 is involved in costimulation of lymphocyte proliferation and induction of hematopoietic stem cells differentiation. CD90.2 has been shown to interact with CD45. The 30H12 antibody has been reported to induce Ca2+ flux in thymocytes and, in combination with antibody against the CD3/TCR complex, promote thymocyte apoptosis and inhibit CD3-mediated proliferative responses of mature T lymphocytes.
