The Mouse CD69 Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated, H1.2F3) is a valuable tool for researchers studying immune responses and cell activation processes. This antibody, available from Assay Genie, specifically targets the CD69 protein, a marker associated with early activation of lymphocytes.CD69 is a transmembrane protein that is rapidly induced upon activation of T cells, B cells, and NK cells. Its expression serves as a marker for immune cell activation and is involved in the regulation of immune responses. The PE conjugation of this monoclonal antibody allows for easy detection and visualization of CD69-positive cells using flow cytometry or fluorescent microscopy techniques.
By utilizing the Mouse CD69 Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated, H1.2F3), researchers can gain insights into the early stages of immune cell activation, investigate immune cell functions, and monitor immune responses in various experimental settings. This antibody is an essential tool for immunologists, cell biologists, and researchers interested in understanding the intricacies of the immune system.

Background:
CD69 is a 60 kD type II membrane protein composed of a 27/33 kD disulfide-linked homodimer, also known as Very Early Activation Antigen (VEA), AIM, EA1, MLR3, and gp34/28. It is expressed on a subset of thymocytes and platelets. CD69 is rapidly induced on activated T and B cells, neutrophils, and NK cells. It is a C-type lectin, closely related to the NKR-P1 and Ly-49 NK cell activation molecules. CD69 is involved in the early events of cell activation and thymocyte positive selection.
