The Mouse CD64 Monoclonal Antibody (FITC-conjugated) x54-5-7.1 (AGEL1972) is a powerful tool for researchers studying immune responses and cell surface molecules in mice. This antibody, designed for use in flow cytometry applications, specifically targets CD64, a protein known for its role in immune cell activation and phagocytosis.CD64, also known as FcγRI, is a high-affinity receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulins and is primarily expressed on monocytes and macrophages. By binding to CD64, this monoclonal antibody allows for precise detection and analysis of CD64-expressing cells in various tissues and experimental models, facilitating a deeper understanding of immune cell functions.
With its FITC conjugation, this antibody provides the added benefit of fluorescence detection, enabling researchers to easily visualize and quantify CD64 expression levels in different cell populations. Whether investigating immune responses, inflammation, or infectious diseases in mouse models, the Mouse CD64 Monoclonal Antibody (FITC-conjugated) x54-5-7.1 (AGEL1972) is a valuable reagent for advancing immunological research.

Background:
CD64 is a 72 kD single chain type I glycoprotein also known as FcγRI and FcRI. CD64 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and is expressed on monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, and mast cells. The expression can be upregulated by IFN-γ stimulation. CD64 binds IgG immune complex. It plays a role in antigen capture, phagocytosis of IgG/antigen complexes, and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC).
