The Mouse CD64 Monoclonal Antibody (APC Conjugated) X54-5/7.1 (AGEL1974) is a cutting-edge tool for researchers investigating the CD64 protein in mouse models. CD64, also known as FcγRI, is a crucial receptor involved in immune responses, particularly in phagocytosis and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated to APC for fluorescent applications, offers highly specific and sensitive detection of CD64 in mouse samples. With its ability to bind specifically to the CD64 protein, this antibody enables precise identification and analysis of CD64 expression in various cell populations, making it an invaluable asset for studies in immunology and infectious diseases research.
The role of CD64 in immune regulation and host defense mechanisms underscores its importance in understanding immune responses to infections, autoimmune diseases, and inflammatory conditions. By using this monoclonal antibody, researchers can gain deeper insights into the functions of CD64 and its impact on immune system modulation, paving the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting this receptor.

Background:
CD64 is a 72 kD single chain type I glycoprotein also known as FcγRI and FcRI. CD64 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and is expressed on monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, and mast cells. The expression can be upregulated by IFN-γ stimulation. CD64 binds IgG immune complex. It plays a role in antigen capture, phagocytosis of IgG/antigen complexes, and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC).
