The Mouse CD45R (B220) Monoclonal Antibody, PERCP-Cyanine5.5 Conjugated (RA3-6B2) is a powerful tool for researchers studying immune cells in mice. This antibody is specifically designed to target the CD45R (B220) protein, a common marker for B cells, making it an essential tool for immunology and cell biology studies. The RA3-6B2 antibody is ideal for flow cytometry applications, enabling precise identification and analysis of B cells in mouse samples. Its PERCP-Cyanine5.5 conjugation provides excellent sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio, allowing for accurate and reliable data generation.By specifically binding to CD45R (B220), this monoclonal antibody allows researchers to investigate B cell development, function, and activation in a variety of experimental settings.
Whether studying normal immune responses, autoimmune disorders, or lymphoid malignancies, the RA3-6B2 antibody provides a valuable tool for discerning the roles of B cells in immune regulation and disease pathogenesis. For researchers seeking to deepen their understanding of mouse immune responses and B cell biology, the Mouse CD45R (B220) Monoclonal Antibody, PERCP-Cyanine5.5 Conjugated (RA3-6B2) offers high specificity, reliability, and performance, making it a valuable addition to any immunology laboratory.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
CD45R, also known as B220, is an isoform of CD45. It is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family with a molecular weight of approximately 180-240 kD. CD45R is expressed on B cells (at all developmental stages from pro-B cells through mature B cells), activated B cells, and subsets of T and NK cells. CD45R (B220) is also expressed on a subset of abnormal T cells involved in the pathogenesis of systemic autoimmunity in MRL-Faslpr and MRL-Fasgld mice. It plays a critical role in TCR and BCR signaling. The primary ligands for CD45 are galectin-1, CD2, CD3, and CD4. CD45R is commonly used as a pan-B cell marker; however, CD19 may be more appropriate for B cell specificity.
