The Mouse CD335 Monoclonal Antibody PE Conjugated (29A1.4) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the CD335 protein, also known as NKp46. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated to phycoerythrin (PE), is specifically designed for flow cytometry applications, enabling the detection and analysis of CD335 expression on natural killer (NK) cells.CD335 is a crucial cell surface receptor predominantly expressed on NK cells and plays a significant role in the recognition and killing of infected or tumor cells. By targeting CD335, researchers can gain insights into the function and activity of NK cells in immune responses against pathogens and cancer.
The PE conjugation of this antibody allows for precise detection and quantification of CD335-expressing cells in flow cytometry experiments, providing valuable information on the role of NK cells in immune surveillance and response. With its high specificity and reliability, the Mouse CD335 Monoclonal Antibody PE Conjugated (29A1.4) is an essential tool for immunologists and cancer researchers investigating the intricate workings of the immune system.

Background:
CD335, also known as NKp46, is a single-pass type I membrane protein of 46 kD. It belongs to the natural cytotoxicity receptor (NCR) family and contains two Ig-like (immunoglobulin-like) domains. It's expression is restricted to NK cells and a subset of NKT cells; it's not expressed in CD1d-restricted NKT cells. CD335 is a receptor for viral hemagglutinins and heparan sulfate proteoglycans and is involved in NK cell activation.
