The Mouse CD28 Monoclonal Antibody PE Conjugated (Catalog #AGEL0137) from Assay Genie is a powerful tool for immunological research. This antibody is specifically designed to target CD28, a crucial co-stimulatory molecule involved in T cell activation and immune response regulation. By binding to CD28, this antibody facilitates the detection and analysis of CD28 expression in various cell types, making it an essential component for studies in immunology, vaccine development, and autoimmune disease research.CD28 is a key regulator of T cell activation, serving as a receptor that delivers co-stimulatory signals necessary for T cell proliferation and cytokine production. Research on CD28 has revealed its significance in modulating immune responses, tolerance, and memory formation.
By using the Mouse CD28 Monoclonal Antibody PE Conjugated, researchers can gain valuable insights into the role of CD28 in immune signaling pathways and the development of immune-based therapies. With its high specificity and sensitivity, this antibody provides reliable results in flow cytometry and other immunological assays. Its PE conjugation allows for easy and efficient detection of CD28 expression, enabling precise analysis of T cell activation and immune response dynamics. Trust Assay Genie's Mouse CD28 Monoclonal Antibody PE Conjugated for accurate and reproducible results in your immunological research endeavors.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD28 is a 44 kD glycoprotein, also known as Tp44 or T44. It is a member of the Ig superfamily, expressed on thymocytes, most peripheral T cells, and NK cells. In association with CD80 (B7-1) and CD86 (B7-2), CD28 acts as the second signal for T and NK cell activation and proliferation. The 37.51 antibody has been reported to augment in vitro T cell proliferation and cytokine production, and promote CTL development.
