The Mouse CD274 (PD-L1) Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated) (10F.9G2) (AGEL1642) from Assay Genie is a powerful tool for researchers studying immune checkpoints and immune regulation in the context of cancer and immune-related diseases. This monoclonal antibody specifically targets the PD-L1 protein, also known as CD274, a key player in the regulation of immune responses. The PD-L1 protein is a critical component of the immune checkpoint pathway, where it interacts with PD-1 on T cells to inhibit their activation and prevent excessive immune responses. Understanding the role of PD-L1 in immune evasion and immune tolerance is essential for developing targeted therapies in cancer immunotherapy and other immune-related disorders.
This PE-conjugated monoclonal antibody offers high specificity and sensitivity, allowing for precise detection and analysis of PD-L1 expression in various cell types. Its validation for use in flow cytometry makes it an invaluable tool for investigating PD-L1 expression levels in immune cells, tumor samples, and other biological samples.Researchers in the fields of immunology, oncology, and immunotherapy can benefit from the use of the Mouse CD274 (PD-L1) Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated) (10F.9G2) (AGEL1642) in their studies. By elucidating the role of PD-L1 in immune regulation and immune evasion mechanisms, this antibody contributes to the advancement of novel therapeutic strategies and personalized medicine approaches.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
CD274, also known as B7-H1 or programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1), is a 40 kD type I transmembrane protein and a member of the B7 family within the immunoglobulin receptor superfamily. It is expressed on T cells, B cells, NK cells, dendritic cells, IFN-γ activated endothelial cells, and monocytes. B7-H1 is one of the ligands of PD-1. The interaction of B7-H1 with PD-1 plays an important role in the inhibition of T cell responses. Other studies have shown that B7-H1 is able to costimulate T cell growth and cytokine production. CD274 is involved in costimulation essential for T cell proliferation and production of IL-10 and IFN-γ, in an IL-2-dependent and a PD-1-independent manner. Its interaction with PD-1 inhibits T cell proliferation and cytokine production.
