The Mouse CD24 Monoclonal Antibody (FITC Conjugated) M1/69 (AGEL1891) from Assay Genie is a specialized antibody designed for research involving CD24, a cell surface marker with key roles in immunity and cancer biology. This monoclonal antibody, specifically conjugated with FITC for easy fluorescence detection, is highly reactive with mouse samples and is validated for various applications such as flow cytometry and immunofluorescence.CD24, a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored protein, is known for its involvement in cell adhesion, signaling, and differentiation processes. It is particularly important in cancer research due to its association with tumor progression, metastasis, and cancer stem cell properties.
The CD24 Monoclonal Antibody M1/69 enables precise detection and analysis of CD24 expression in different cell types, making it a valuable tool for studying tumor biology, immunology, and stem cell research.By targeting CD24, researchers can gain insights into its functional roles in cancer development, immune responses, and stem cell maintenance. Understanding the molecular mechanisms involving CD24 could lead to novel therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment, immunotherapy, and regenerative medicine. The Mouse CD24 Monoclonal Antibody (FITC Conjugated) M1/69 (AGEL1891) offers a reliable and specific tool to advance knowledge in these crucial research areas.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD24 is a 35-45 kD protein also known as Heat Stable Antigen (HSA), Ly-52, or Nectadrin. It is a GPI-linked sialoglycoprotein expressed on lymphocytes, granulocytes, epithelial cells, thymocytes, monocytes, erythrocytes, and dendritic cells. CD24 expression varies during T and B cell differentiation and is a useful marker for delineating various lymphocyte developmental stages. CD24 serves as an adhesion or costimulatory molecule involved in T and B lymphocyte activation and differentiation by homophilic binding or binding to CD62P.
