The Mouse CD1d Monoclonal Antibody (APC-Conjugated 19G11, AGEL0817) is a valuable tool for research involving CD1d, a major histocompatibility complex class I-like protein involved in lipid antigen presentation to natural killer T cells. This antibody, specifically designed for mouse samples, is conjugated with APC for easy detection in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence applications. It specifically binds to the CD1d protein, facilitating the identification and analysis of CD1d expression in various cell populations.CD1d is a crucial player in antigen presentation to specific T cells, particularly in the context of lipid antigens. Its involvement in the activation of natural killer T cells underscores its importance in regulating immune responses, making it a target of interest in immunology and autoimmune disease studies.
By understanding the function and expression of CD1d, researchers can gain insights into immune system regulation and the development of potential therapeutic strategies for immune-related disorders. The Mouse CD1d Monoclonal Antibody (APC-Conjugated 19G11, AGEL0817) provides researchers with a reliable tool for investigating CD1d involvement in immune responses, lipid antigen presentation, and immune system modulation. Its specificity and conjugation with APC make it a versatile reagent for flow cytometry analysis, enabling precise detection and quantification of CD1d-expressing cells in biological samples.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
CD1d is a type I transmembrane protein and member of the MHC family, with a molecular weight ranging from 43-49 kD, depending on the glycosylation degree. CD1d is expressed by antigen presenting cells such as dendritic cells, monocytes, macrophages and B cells; also expressed by thymocytes and intestinal epithelial cells. CD1d present glycolipids to iNKT cells that recognize them by their Vα14i TCR.
