The Mouse CD19 Monoclonal Antibody (AF488 Conjugated, 1D3) is a highly specific and efficient tool for researchers studying immune responses and B cell-related processes. This antibody, conjugated with AF488 for fluorescence-based applications, targets the CD19 protein expressed on the surface of B cells. CD19 is a key marker for B cell identification and activation, making this antibody essential for flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and other detection techniques. With the 1D3 clone's high specificity and binding affinity to CD19, researchers can accurately analyze and quantify B cell populations in various samples, including tissues and cell cultures.
The use of the Mouse CD19 Monoclonal Antibody (AF488 Conjugated, 1D3) is crucial in understanding B cell dynamics, immune responses, and diseases related to B cell dysfunction, such as B cell lymphomas and autoimmune disorders. Its reliable performance and fluorescence conjugation make it a valuable tool for immunologists, cancer researchers, and others interested in exploring B cell biology and related therapeutic targets.

Background:
CD19 is a 95 kD glycoprotein also known as B4. It is a member of the Ig superfamily, expressed on all pro-B to mature B cells (during development) and follicular dendritic cells. Plasma cells do not express CD19. CD19, in association with CD21 and CD81, forms a molecular complex integral to B cell activation.
