The Biotin-Conjugated Mouse CD11c Monoclonal Antibody (N418) is expertly designed for research involving CD11c, a critical cell surface molecule expressed on dendritic cells and other immune cells, crucial for antigen presentation and immune response activation. This monoclonal antibody, produced in mice, is highly specific to mouse CD11c and is validated for use in flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry applications. The biotin conjugation enhances detection and quantification through various biotin-avidin/streptavidin-based assay systems, providing precise and reliable results.CD11c, a component of the integrin complex, plays a pivotal role in the immune system by aiding in the capture and presentation of antigens to T cells, thus initiating immune responses. Its importance in immune regulation makes it a valuable target for research into autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases, and cancer.
The Biotin-Conjugated Mouse CD11c Monoclonal Antibody (N418) is an indispensable tool for researchers aiming to investigate dendritic cell function and develop therapies that modulate immune activity.By facilitating accurate and sensitive detection of CD11c, this antibody supports comprehensive studies of immune response pathways, contributing to the development of novel therapeutic strategies for autoimmune diseases, chronic inflammatory conditions, and immune-related disorders. Understanding the activity of CD11c is crucial for creating innovative immunotherapies that leverage or modulate antigen presentation in various disease contexts. This antibody is essential for advancing immunology and cancer research.

Background:
CD11c is a 150 kD glycoprotein also known as αX integrin, CR4, and p150. CD11c forms a αXβ2 heterodimer with β2 integrin (CD18). It is primarily expressed on dendritic cells, NK cells, a subset of intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL), and some activated T cells. The αXβ2 integrin plays an important role in cell-cell contact by binding its ligands: iC3b, fibrinogen and CD54.
