The Mouse CD11a Monoclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor 488 Conjugated) - FD441.8 (AGEL0157) is a cutting-edge research tool designed for scientists studying immune function and cell interactions. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated with Alexa Fluor 488 for enhanced fluorescent detection, specifically targets CD11a, a cell surface molecule involved in cell adhesion and immune response modulation.CD11a, also known as integrin alpha L, plays a vital role in mediating cell adhesion and migration, particularly in immune cells such as T cells and leukocytes. The conjugated FD441.8 antibody allows for precise visualization and tracking of CD11a expression on cell surfaces, facilitating detailed analysis of cell interactions and immune responses.
With its high specificity and reactivity in mouse samples, this antibody is an essential tool for researchers investigating immune cell activation, inflammation, and immune system disorders. It is suitable for use in techniques such as flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry, enabling versatile applications in immunology, cancer research, and beyond.Unlock new insights into immune cell dynamics and immune system function with the Mouse CD11a Monoclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor 488 Conjugated) - FD441.8 (AGEL0157).

Background:
CD11a is a 180 kD glycoprotein, also known as αL integrin, LFA-1 α, Ly-15, or Ly-21. It is a member of the integrin family, primarily expressed on lymphocytes, monocytes/macrophages, and granulocytes. In association with CD18, the CD11a/CD18 complex forms LFA-1. CD11a plays an important role in intercellular adhesion and costimulation by binding its ligands, ICAM-1 (CD54), ICAM-2 (CD102), and ICAM-3 (CD50).
