The Mouse Alpha-2 Actin Alpha 2 Smooth Muscle ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the accurate quantification of alpha-2 actin alpha 2 smooth muscle levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring precise and consistent results for various research applications.Alpha-2 actin alpha 2 smooth muscle is a key protein involved in smooth muscle contraction and cell structure maintenance. It plays a critical role in various physiological processes, including muscle function, vascular tone regulation, and tissue remodeling. The measurement of alpha-2 actin alpha 2 smooth muscle levels can provide valuable insights into the mechanisms of smooth muscle-related diseases, such as cardiovascular disorders, hypertension, and smooth muscle tumors.
By utilizing the Mouse Alpha-2 Actin Alpha 2 Smooth Muscle ELISA Kit, researchers can accurately assess alpha-2 actin alpha 2 smooth muscle levels in mouse samples, enabling detailed investigations into the role of this protein in health and disease. This kit is an essential tool for studies aiming to uncover the molecular mechanisms underlying smooth muscle function and pathophysiology.
This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse ACTα2. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse ACTα2 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse ACTα2, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Mouse ACTα2. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse ACTα2 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
