The Mouse Prostatic Acid Phosphatase (ACP3/PAP) ELISA Kit is meticulously designed to facilitate the accurate quantification of ACP3/PAP levels in mouse biological samples. ACP3/PAP, a prostate-specific enzyme primarily expressed in prostatic tissues, serves as a crucial biomarker for prostate function and health. Elevated or altered ACP3/PAP levels are associated with various prostate conditions, including prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer, making it a valuable marker for prostate-related pathologies. This ELISA kit empowers researchers to quantify ACP3/PAP levels with precision, offering insights into prostate health, disease progression, and potential therapeutic targets.
By measuring ACP3/PAP concentrations in mouse samples, researchers can investigate prostate-specific functions, disease mechanisms, and the efficacy of interventions targeting prostate disorders. With outstanding sensitivity and specificity, the Mouse ACP3/PAP ELISA Kit provides reliable and reproducible results, enabling researchers to explore the role of ACP3/PAP in prostatic health and pathology with confidence. Manufactured under strict quality control measures, this kit ensures robust performance and user-friendly operation, making it an indispensable tool for prostate research in mouse models.
This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse ACP3/PAP. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse ACP3/PAP and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse ACP3/PAP, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Mouse ACP3/PAP. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse ACP3/PAP in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
