The Monkey PA (Prealbumin) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the precise measurement of prealbumin levels in monkey samples, including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit is highly sensitive and specific, providing researches with accurate and reproducible results for various applications.Prealbumin, also known as transthyretin, is an important protein involved in transporting thyroxine and vitamin A in the blood.
Changes in prealbumin levels can serve as indicators for malnutrition, liver disease, and inflammation, making it a valuable biomarker for monitoring health and disease progression in monkeys. With the Monkey PA ELISA Kit, researchers can effectively study the role of prealbumin in various physiological and pathological conditions, ultimately leading to a better understanding of monkey health and potential therapeutic interventions.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Monkey TTR. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Monkey TTR and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Monkey TTR, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Monkey TTR. You can calculate the concentration of Monkey TTR in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
