Description
MIP 3b Monoclonal Antibody [YNR-HMIP3b] (CPAB0008)
The MIP-3B Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0008) is a valuable tool for researchers studying chemokine proteins involved in immune cell migration and inflammation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human MIP-3B and has been validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting. By targeting the MIP-3B protein, this antibody enables researchers to detect and analyze its expression in different cell types, offering insights into its role in immune responses and inflammatory processes.MIP-3B, also known as CCL19, is a chemokine that plays a crucial role in directing immune cells to sites of inflammation or infection.
Its ability to recruit specific immune cells to the site of injury or infection makes it a key player in the immune response. Understanding the function of MIP-3B can provide valuable information for developing new therapies for immune-related diseases, such as autoimmune disorders and inflammatory conditions. By targeting MIP-3B with this antibody, researchers can further explore its role in these diseases and potentially identify new treatment strategies.

Background: | Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 19 (CCL19) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is also known as EBI1 ligand chemokine (ELC) and macrophage inflammatory protein-3-beta (MIP-3-beta). CCL19 is expressed abundantly in thymus and lymph nodes, with moderate levels in trachea and colonand low levels in stomach, small intestine, lung, kidney and spleen. The gene for CCL19 is located on human chromosome 9. This chemokine elicits its effects on its target cells by binding to the chemokine receptor chemokine receptor CCR7. It attracts certain cells of the immune system, including dendritic cellsand antigen-engaged B cells. |
