Description
MIP 3 Monoclonal Antibody [YNR-HMIP3] (CPAB0004)
The MIP-3 Antibody is a polyclonal antibody designed for researchers studying the MIP-3 protein, also known as CCL20. Produced in rabbits, this antibody is highly reactive with human samples and is validated for use in applications such as Western blotting. By binding specifically to the MIP-3 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in various cell types, making it an essential tool for studies in immunology and inflammatory conditions.MIP-3 is a chemokine that plays a crucial role in the recruitment and activation of immune cells, particularly in the context of inflammation and infection.
This antibody provides researchers with an invaluable tool for investigating the function of MIP-3 in various disease states, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions. Understanding the role of MIP-3 in immune response modulation is essential for developing targeted therapies that can effectively modulate immune function in these disease contexts.

Background: | Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 19 (CCL19) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is also known as EBI1 ligand chemokine (ELC) and macrophage inflammatory protein-3-beta (MIP-3-beta). CCL19 is expressed abundantly in thymusand lymph nodes, with moderate levels in tracheaand colonand low levels in stomach, small intestine, lung, kidneyand spleen. The gene for CCL19 is located on human chromosome 9. This chemokine elicits its effects on its target cells by binding to the chemokine receptor chemokine receptor CCR7. It attracts certain cells of the immune system, including dendritic cellsand antigen-engaged B cells. |
