The MIG7 Antibody (PAC020020) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the MIG7 protein, which plays a critical role in cell migration and invasion in cancer metastasis. This polyclonal antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific to human MIG7 and is validated for use in various applications, including Western blot and immunohistochemistry.MIG7, also known as migration-inducing protein 7, is a key player in promoting tumor cell migration and invasion, leading to metastasis in various types of cancer.
Understanding the role of MIG7 in cancer progression is vital for identifying potential therapeutic targets and developing treatments to inhibit metastasis. With its high reactivity and specificity for human MIG7, the MIG7 Antibody (PAC020020) is an essential tool for researchers investigating the mechanisms of cancer metastasis and exploring new therapeutic strategies to target MIG7 in cancer treatment.

Background:
MIG-7 protein inhibited protein phosphatase 2A to sustain Akt/GSK-3 β phosphorylation and cancer-cell migration/invasion. Cancer cells overexpressing MIG-7 exhibited increased expression of ZEB-1 and Twist in parallel with epithelial-mesenchymal transition, metastasis and cancer lethality. MIG-7 protein level positively correlated with advanced stages of human lung cancers.
