The MARCH9 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB10596) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the MARCH9 protein, an important regulator of immune response and protein degradation. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the MARCH9 protein, this antibody allows for precise detection and analysis in various cell types, making it essential for studies in immunology, cell biology, and cancer research.MARCH9, also known as membrane-associated RING-CH 9, is a crucial player in the regulation of immune signaling pathways and the turnover of immune receptors.
Its involvement in immune cell function and protein degradation processes makes it a key target for understanding various disease states, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions. By studying the role of MARCH9, researchers can gain insights into potential therapeutic targets for modulating immune responses and treating related diseases.

MARCH9 is a member of the MARCH family of membrane-bound E3 ubiquitin ligases (EC 6.3.2.19). MARCH enzymes add ubiquitin (see MIM 191339) to target lysines in substrate proteins, thereby signaling their vesicular transport between membrane compartments. MARCH9 induces internalization of several membrane glycoproteins and directs them to the endosomal compartment (Bartee et al., 2004 [PubMed 14722266]; Hoer et al., 2007 [PubMed 17174307]).
