The MAP7 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB4267) is a versatile tool for researchers studying the microtubule-associated protein 7 (MAP7), which plays a key role in various cellular processes such as cell division, intracellular transport, and cell migration. This antibody, raised in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.MAP7 is known to be involved in regulating microtubule dynamics and stability, making it essential for proper cell division and intracellular transport.
Dysregulation of MAP7 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. By targeting MAP7 with this antibody, researchers can effectively study its role in these pathological conditions and potentially develop new therapeutic strategies targeting MAP7.Overall, the MAP7 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB4267) is a valuable tool for advancing research in cell biology, cancer biology, and neurobiology, providing insight into the functions of MAP7 and its implications in disease pathology.

The product of this gene is a microtubule-associated protein that is predominantly expressed in cells of epithelial origin. Microtubule-associated proteins are thought to be involved in microtubule dynamics, which is essential for cell polarization and differentiation. This protein has been shown to be able to stabilize microtubules, and may serve to modulate microtubule functions. Studies of the related mouse protein also suggested an essential role in microtubule function required for spermatogenesis. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
