The MAP4K5 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7962) is a powerful tool for researchers studying the MAP4K5 protein, a key player in cell signaling pathways. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the MAP4K5 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis of MAP4K5 levels in various cell types, making it particularly useful for studies in cancer research and drug development.MAP4K5, also known as mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase kinase 5, is involved in regulating important cellular processes such as cell growth, proliferation, and inflammation.
Dysregulation of MAP4K5 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases. By investigating the role of MAP4K5 in these conditions, researchers can gain valuable insights that may lead to the development of targeted therapies and diagnostic tools. In conclusion, the MAP4K5 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable asset for researchers looking to explore the functions and implications of MAP4K5 in health and disease. Its high specificity and reliability make it a trusted tool for advancing our understanding of cellular signaling pathways and potential therapeutic targets.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 300-480 of human MAP4K5 (NP_006566.2).
This gene encodes a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family, that is highly similar to yeast SPS1/STE20 kinase. Yeast SPS1/STE20 functions near the beginning of the MAP kinase signal cascades that is essential for yeast pheromone response. This kinase was shown to activate Jun kinase in mammalian cells, which suggested a role in stress response. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been described for this gene.
