The MAP3K5 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB12458) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the MAP3K5 protein, a key player in cell signaling pathways related to inflammation and cell survival. This antibody, produced in rabbits, has high specificity for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the MAP3K5 protein, this antibody allows for precise detection and analysis in various cell types, making it ideal for studies in immunology, cancer research, and other fields where MAP3K5 is implicated.MAP3K5, also known as apoptosis signal-regulating kinase 1 (ASK1), plays a crucial role in regulating cell death and survival pathways, making it a promising target for research into diseases such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and cardiovascular diseases.
Understanding the function of MAP3K5 is essential for developing therapeutic interventions that can modulate cell signaling processes and potentially combat disease progression. The MAP3K5 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for investigating the role of MAP3K5 in various physiological and pathological conditions.

Mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling cascades include MAPK or extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK), MAPK kinase (MKK or MEK), and MAPK kinase kinase (MAPKKK or MEKK). MAPKK kinase/MEKK phosphorylates and activates its downstream protein kinase, MAPK kinase/MEK, which in turn activates MAPK. The kinases of these signaling cascades are highly conserved, and homologs exist in yeast, Drosophila, and mammalian cells. MAPKKK5 contains 1,374 amino acids with all 11 kinase subdomains. Northern blot analysis shows that MAPKKK5 transcript is abundantly expressed in human heart and pancreas. The MAPKKK5 protein phosphorylates and activates MKK4 (aliases SERK1, MAPKK4) in vitro, and activates c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK)/stress-activated protein kinase (SAPK) during transient expression in COS and 293 cells; MAPKKK5 does not activate MAPK/ERK.
