The MAP3K12 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8464) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the MAP3K12 protein, a key player in intracellular signaling pathways involved in cell growth and differentiation. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity when detecting MAP3K12 in human samples, making it an excellent choice for Western blot applications.MAP3K12, also known as dual leucine zipper-bearing kinase (DLK), is a serine/threonine kinase that regulates cellular responses to stress and injury. By targeting MAP3K12 with this antibody, researchers can explore its role in signaling cascades that influence cell fate decisions and neuronal regeneration, offering insights into potential therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative diseases and other conditions involving neuronal damage.
With its proven performance in detecting MAP3K12 protein levels in various cell types, the MAP3K12 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8464) is an essential tool for studies in neurobiology, cell biology, and drug discovery aimed at targeting intracellular signaling pathways for therapeutic benefit.

This gene encodes a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family. This kinase contains a leucine-zipper domain and is predominately expressed in neuronal cells. The phosphorylation state of this kinase in synaptic terminals was shown to be regulated by membrane depolarization via calcineurin. This kinase forms heterodimers with leucine zipper containing transcription factors, such as cAMP responsive element binding protein (CREB) and MYC, and thus may play a regulatory role in PKA or retinoic acid induced neuronal differentiation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different proteins have been described.
