The MAP2K4 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7724) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the MAP2K4 protein, a critical regulator of cell signaling pathways involved in cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.MAP2K4, also known as MKK4, plays a key role in the MAPK signaling pathway, which is crucial for proper cell function and response to external stimuli. Dysregulation of this pathway has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, inflammatory disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions.
By targeting MAP2K4 with this antibody, researchers can gain insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying these diseases and potentially identify new therapeutic targets. This MAP2K4 Polyclonal Antibody is a versatile tool for studying the function and regulation of MAP2K4 in different cell types and disease contexts. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an essential component of any laboratory conducting research in cell signaling, cancer biology, or drug discovery. Unlock the potential of MAP2K4 research with this reliable and well-validated antibody.

A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 301-399 of human MAP2K4 (NP_003001.1).
This gene encodes a member of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) family. Members of this family act as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals and are involved in a wide variety of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation, and development. They form a three-tiered signaling module composed of MAPKKKs, MAPKKs, and MAPKs. This protein is phosphorylated at serine and threonine residues by MAPKKKs and subsequently phosphorylates downstream MAPK targets at threonine and tyrosine residues. A similar protein in mouse has been reported to play a role in liver organogenesis. A pseudogene of this gene is located on the long arm of chromosome X. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
